I have had the distinct pleasure of owning an Anthony Lane cello for over two years. The response and tonal qualities of my instrument far exceed those of any contemporary instrument that I have played. Remarkably well set up for maximum comfort and response, it is a delight to play! It has a fine, focused tone that projects beautifully in all registers.

Lee Duckles is the Principal Cellist of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in Canada. An active recitalist and chamber musician, he participates in numerous music festivals annually in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska as a performer, teacher, and adjudicator. He is currently President of the Vancouver Cello Club. Mr. Duckles is also the Principal Cellist at the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music in Santa Cruz, California, where he has introduced and performed many new works for cello and orchestra.
